Baby thoughts!

Hi

Yesterday I wrote to Marcia and asked her to find out if there is any possibility for me to adopt a child from Brazil. According to the Swedish adoption centre Brazil only adopts children to married couples. I have asked Marcia to see what the laws are for both Brazilians and foreigners. We will see. She sent me some new photos of them. Check it out.

I had some real strange dreams last night, I haven’t been sleeping all that well, but I guess it will pass. I need to start working out again and everything will sort itself out.

I only worked a couple of hours today as it was a bank holiday in the UK. That made for an easy Monday for me. I continued on my cleaning after the party and now my apartment is spotless again.

Camila came by after work and we had dinner and talked a lot we were mainly discussing names for our children = ) I am really looking forward to adopt a child, although I am very scared of the possibility that I am rejected by the social workers as unfit to adopt for any reason. I started thinking that I have to start saving money for the future and for my baby.

We were on msn with Tamar, she is all busy with her little boy Leon. He is so cute and looks exactly like Tamar when she was a baby. He has got the Halladjan eyes. Tamar just told me that they are going to come to Sweden next summer to celebrate Leon one year birthday.

My party

My birthday party rocked. It was great fun and everybody came! Jason went all out on the catering. The food was outstanding and there was plenty of it. There was also a lot of booze. I was scared that we would run out of food and drink but there was plenty of both left over. Now all I have to do is pay the bill = )

I was really glad that Niklas came with his wife Kamylia. Seeing the two of them together made me so happy. They really are in love and happy. She is a real sweetheart, everybody really liked. I am so happy for Niklas he seems now to have gotten all he deserves in life.

The downside was that I got pretty drunk and went home before one o’clock. How mature of me. The tequila, vodka, Champaign knocked me out and today was a pretty tough day. The worst part was that I had promised Maristella that I would perform with Gilmar, so I did. I felt nausea all day. Considering the circumstances it went pretty well.

A special thanks to Camila and Andreas that made sure I got home ok.

Virgi´s birthday dinner was at a Korea restaurant in our own karaoke room. It was great fun, although I was a bit of a slow starter. I was feeling a bit tiered, but as soon as I got a hold of the mic and started howling I was hooked, obsessed by the karaoke beast I felt compelled to sing or scream as I believe it came out. Alex and Kim had the best voices by far and looked much like a couple throughout the night. They should definetly hook up!

Unfortunately people started to drop off pretty early and only five of us were left. We set off towards Stureplan and got stuck outside Fridays discussing politics and the up coming election. Suddenly I had four lefties against me on the street and got pretty pissed off as I always perceive them to be extremely self-righteous in there struggle for the "little guy". As if nobody really wants to stop and ask what the “little guy” really wants. Our view on mankind is so severely different that I feel that it does not even leave any room for discussion. I feel the left wing is just for people to pat there one wealthy backs and say they care for the poor. And as always I got the comparisons with South America and Africa but come on how relevant are there economies with the European? I am not exactly talking about throwing everybody out in the street and introducing slavery again. I am soooo pissed! But I had fun, despite politics

A simple great day

I had my first dance class today, since before Palma. It was great although I kept getting a stitch. I guess I am out of shape now after mainly living on “bocabillos de jamon Serrano”.
Luckily my dance instructor now seems to be off my case. He is probably actively seeking other victims.

Jason and Alex picked me up and we went for Thai take away and over to my house. Jason is gonna make all the food for my party on Saturday. That is great! He is a chef. We are gonna keep it simple with some finger food.

We got to talking about all that needs to be done in my apartment and they are gonna help. Jippiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! How happy am I. we are gonna redo the floors in the hall and kitchen and retile the kitchen wall. That’s just for starters; we now have millions of plans, low budget ones of course. We are gonna get started in a month when Alex is back from Dubai. Our plans are endless!

I have so much to look forward to, its great. I need to by Virgi a birthday present tomorrow as I am going to her birthday dinner tomorrow night. How hard is that she is a tough one.

I am home

Hi

I am so happy to be home now! I got home at one o’clock this morning and got everything unpacked and prepared some laundry. I am at work now and it was great to see everybody again. I really like the people at Preem even though we are all a weird bunch! A real crazy guy called Sverker has quit, that is really gonna effect us all a lot as he is one of those guys that fills a room with laughter. It will definitely be quieter, that I don’t like!

My holiday was real good. Me and J got a lot of shopping done and tanned well = )

Camila’s apartment has finally come up on the internet, it looks great. She has got some taste in decorating. Maybe that is her calling. She is now a team leader at UPS. GO GIRL!

There is no time to rest now that I am home! I am busy every night after work. Virgi is gonna have a birthday dinner on Friday and I am having my party on Saturday. I have not got anything together yet but I am working on it. Jason has said that he can cook for us! He is a sweetheart; he even picked me up this morning.

Jen has told everybody about her traumatic encounter with Brazilian guys. Needless to say she is gonna steer clear of them! Spike Lee blew it big time.

I need something to look forward to. I think people have a lot of plans in august but hopefully some will make it!

Me and J shopped all day today as the weather was lousy this morning. I only bought a bag and two shirts. Pretty bad for 7 hours of shopping. Better luck next time.

Hi world!

I am now 28! Hmmm high number! Despite that my birthday was not as traumatic as I expected. I found the day to be great as sooooo many people that mean soo much to me called or texted me. I got messages all day. I am really proud and happy to say that I now only have really great people in my life. I even got an unexpected text = ) It is good to know that some people never seize to amaze.


This is what I got from S and A. It is the ugliest piece of loungerie I have ever seen. We saw it at the beginning of our trip and talked about it often. So the 2 geniuses bought it for me. We laughed a lot as I modelled it in our room. I pity the guy that ever sees me in it as it is a sure way of getting rid of him!

















I am now here with Jenny! A and S are home = ( and are gonna work tomorrow! We had a great time over here. On S last night and my birthday we had dinner at a great Indian restaurant in La Llotja called Masale. It was perfect great food, beautifully served in a indian environment.


Me and J went to Port Pi where we ran in to the former owner of MIB. He has decided to cut the nightlife and work days so he opened a juice bar with juices from Brasil. Me and J drank acai that is a rare fruit from the amazon. Mom loves it!

















Yesterday was J first night out, so we dressed to kill, as it was Saturday, and hit the bars after midnight. I guess many of you are wondering about J and Spike Lee (SL). Here goes! As I guessed he was there alone without his girlfriend, that mistakable thinks I am her problem. He was happy and drunk I think and all over J. As soon as we were in the MIB J made her face, not the hot look but "the I have a crush girly look". She was stressed out and nervous to see him after a year. He was all over her and tried to kiss her and all but she pulled away. He was hitting to hard and to fast. SL has got to get a grip, that is not how its done!

It is great that J lose her cool over a guy as it doesn not happen very often. We had a great night, laughed a lot and met some really crazy people! The guy at the Cava bar is still there and keeps giving us cava = )he looks just like Cathrins fiancee Alex, I am gonna get a picture to show Cathrin, the are identical! The rock bar is the place to be this year, they have a half swede half spanish guy Alex in the bar that makes the best drinks, Angelica remember the white russian. The bouncer is portugiese, great guy!

Last year the rock bar had a bouncer from Uruguay, I was so scared and fascinated by him that froze up every time he passed me by. I saw him outside New Yorker and panicked ?????? I am ever gonna grow up!

Today me and J saw I guy on the beach that should be shot. He was so good looking that he should not be aloud to walk the earth. I hardly ever lose my cool but I just could not look at him, he was to much. The kind of guy I would never get and if I did I would feal guilty for not sharing!

Palma goes political

Hi world!

What the hell is going on!!!!!!!!!!! As I am on holiday I havent been all in touch with the news! I just heard about the situation in London. Things just seem to be getting uglier by the day. And the hole Israel Lebanon thing has to end. I am often very pro US and UK when it comes to many political situations around the globe. That does not mean that I always agree with everthing! I do not agree with the attacks that Israel is imposing on Lebanon. I must say that I am ashamed to be british right now as Tony blair has chosen to blindly follow the US israely friendly politics. Not everthing they do and have done is right! Why dont England just invade Ireland there are still some IRA around!!!!!

Enough with the politics, now back to Palma. Our dinner with Sussie was great we went to a restaurant that served asian food that passed your table on a belt so you just had to pick up the dishes you wanted! We all found ourselves staring at the belt. We laughed a lot. Sussie told us a whole lot of stories about her exiting life in Palma and now. The main question after that evening was whether her life was more exiting then or now. By the way she has bought some hot boots that she cant walk in. Who will be the lucky guy to see them???

We have spent our days on the beach, where else would I be? We are all real tanned now. Me and A have both burnt ourselves a bit but whitey, S has not. Our only theory is that she reflects the sun on to us??? By the way we have learnt that S can be very stubborn and "cocky" sometimes. Probably because she is a natural blonde!!!!!!!= )

A on the other hand has been trying to eat while I have been trying not to, why cant we just spread it out!

We went out last night it was great fun, but italiens everywhere! The first guy to approach me said, Hi my name is Alessandro and this is may friend Fabricio (not discovery channel) Trust my luck to always get reruns! They were funny, I will put some photos in later on. They were of course italien and worked on a boat! And probably 18!

Me and the girls have laughed so much this trip and talked about everything, we even have a bet going on, but that is a secret. I will write who the winners is though! The whole thing was inspired by Sussie!

We all know eachother a lot better now and are looking forward towards our new lives at home.

A is leaving tomorrow and S the next day. Jenny is coming so I guess I am gonna pick up my pace on the drinking = )

From Palma with Love

I have really fucked up! I managed to book a hotel that does not have a little kitchonette! When we arrived in the room it was tiny and I said to Sophie that there it is just open it and yes it was a closet!!!!!!!!!! We dont even have cold cola at home.Blaaaaaa I was ssssooooo pissed off but managed to get over it. When we got up the next day there was a storm all day!!!!!!!!!!! We ended up going shopping and bought a lot of stuff = )

On saturday night we went out, I saw Mick Jagger (look alike) spike lee ( he asked for u Jenny) and some of the dancers. Dodo is missing.

We did the hole Spain thing, got a lot of shots and made friends with everybody! It was great fun! S and A said they would not dance at Made in Brasil but all of a sudden they were following everything.







I had a traumatic experience with an italien guy(looked like zlatan)called Fabricio. I was at that bar getting some free shots and when I turned around to give the shots to the girls they were both dancing merengue with italians.I laughed and tried to pass on the shots. All of a sudden I get attacked by Fabricio. His dancing stile reminded me of something out of the discovery channel and I could not stop laughing or get away as he had a firm grip on me. S and A also laughed at me as I fought with Fabricio. Finally I escaped and left the bar running and A came with me. But of course we had lost S. A said we had to get but I said she is on her own. It took me 2 songs to escape and I was not going back in. She came out in shock and understood my trauma. We went to made in brasil and danced all night. It was great!!!!!!!!!!

My stalker from the thai restaurant is still here and still seems to think I am 17????????????????????????????????????????????????????? He is soooooooo weird!

We are working hard on our tans and A has burnt herself. I am my usual red at night and brown by day!

We are gonna have dinner with Sussie tonight and then she is gonna come with us to the Made in Brasil (mib).

The day has finally come. Jason is gonna pick me up in a couple of hours and I have almost packed everything. Bikini by day and Party gear by night! That was easy.
Gunnar invited me out to lunch and gave me an early birthday present, two actually! I got GnR´s Greatest hits and a book about the nightlife around Stureplan! He is so kind!

Jenny got a book ment to help singles to date, it was soooo funny, we read aloud from it. To me it seemed to be a lot of casual sex in it for a singles (trying to find somebody) book! Very pro single book = )


Jenny is also of for her holiday, she will come to Palma in a week, that will be the second leg of my trip! The book is also coming to Palma = )






















I am gonna try and write from Palma, maybe even get some pictures in!

My day at work today was a lot calmer than yesterday, my inner rage seems to be settling down! Yesterday I had made some mistakes that Gunnar had to fix, he said I only had Spain on my mind! Might be true! I keep losing money on the crude, but luckily my trades for the company are better!



My favourite couple Camila and Andreas are back from there trip to Spain! It was great seeing them again it felt like it had been a while. I have to spend some time with them when I get back. Camila had a great deal of gossip for me about people we used to know and now don´t wanna know anymore. All I can say is that people seem to find exactly what they deserve. Lucky for me and Camila we are out of it although the badmouthing continues. BAD KARMA!!!!



Richard called today, he makes me so happy everytime I talk to him as we always laugh about everything. He is being headhunted for new jobs all the time! Congrads!!!!!!!!!I am gonna try and visit him in Dublin this fall.

Was just on the phone with Pontus, he is funny! I asked him if he would mind if I mentioned him in my blog. I don´t want my freinds to get pissed off at me. He asked me why and exactly what I was gonna write = ) I think I got him nervous. Finally he said I could mention him if he gets a present from Spain. Hope he feels better sone!

The beginning

Inspired by my friend Cecy (http://cecysbarrio.blogspot.com/) I have decided to start blogging. She just started last week and I am enjoying reading her blogg every day.
I have already called her to ask her to help me get everthing set up. Unfortainatly she was not of much assistance as she couldn`t remember. I am having some trouble uploading my picture to my profile.

Now my mind is totally set on my upcoming trip to Palma. I am flying out on friday night and will be staying for 2 1/2 weeks. GREAT!!!!!!!! Palma is my favourite city in the world!

Spent the hole day feeling some sort of inner agression. I have no idea what that is all about but I hope it passes sone as I am being a pain to everybody around me. Hopefully it is just an extreme desire to go on holiday. My life saver today was as usual www.youtube.com I got to listen old songs like black cat with Janet!

Now I am off to powerwalk an hour, hoping desperatly it will pay off!
